Dressed Up Tomato Soup
Ingredients:
Notes:
- 1 28 ounce can Italian Seasoned diced tomatoes
- 1 25 ounce can tomato soup, undiluted
- 1 32 ounce can chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- Sour Cream (optional)
- Pulse diced tomatoes 3-4 times or until finely diced
- Stir tomatoes. tomato soup, chicken broth and ground pepper in dutch oven
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated
- If desired, top with sour cream prior to serving
- Enjoy!
Notes:
- I got this recipe form, Southern Living Magazine years ago.
- Other optional ingredients to top soup are: chopped parsley, basil, chives, rosemary, croutons, grated parm cheese, grated lemon rind.
- Optional ingredients chopped parsley, basil, chives and rosemary can also be mixed in with the soup while cooking.
