Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 cups all purpose flour
To Make:
- Preheat oven to 325
- Mix butter and brown sugar, adding in flour as you mix
- Roll doughe into balls
- Use a fork to flatten the balls a bit
- Bake 20-25 minutes
- Enjoy!
Notes:
- Shortbread are one of my all time favourite cookies.
- Press the fork vertically and horizontally into the dough.
- If you press too much, making the dough thin, you'll have shortbread snaps (as my grandma says) instead of cookies. But they still taste good!
- I will sometimes add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, etc to the dough just to mix things up a bit.
