- Add vanilla
- In a baked pie shell, layer banana and wafers
- Pour mixture into pie shell
- Enjoy!
Notes:
- Another recipe from a friend of Rhonda's (she collected recipes from friends and put together cookbook).
- Rhonda's friend noted, if you like meringue, just separate the eggs. I've never done this.
- You can make your own pie shell, but I always use a pre-made one...it's just easier.
- I cannot stress this enough...make sure the pie shell is BAKED prior to adding ingredients.
- This recipe can easily be turned into coconut pie! Just add coconut when you add vanilla. Rhonda's friend recommends 1 small can of coconut milk. I've use 1 cup coconut milk, 1 cup regular milk (instead of 2 cups of milk) and added shredded coconut.
I LOVE banana pudding!!! I always assumed it was hard to make, but this doesn't look to hard! Thanks for the recipe
