Blogtemer- Mistake

I have decided to participate in Blogtember. It seems like something that would be pretty fun. I have no idea if I'll be able to actually do this, but I'm going to give it a try!

Today's prompt:

Write about a time you screwed up - a mistake you made.

So I am going to be difficult in writing about this prompt... I don't believe in mistakes. I feel if you are able to learn something from an experience, grow from the situation, it was not a mistake. Sure, maybe you did something you shouldn't have done or something you might regret, but if you can take something away from the experience, it was not a mistake. I firmly believe this.

If you do not take something away from the experience- if you don't learn or grow- than that is mistake...not what you did, but not taking the time to learn from what you did.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and that everything works out the way it's supposed to.

Other people might look at my life and think that I make a lot of mistakes...and maybe I do. But because I have been able to take something away from every situation I am in, I don't see them as mistakes.
